Job Purpose
The Landscape Construction Crew Leader is a hands-on position in charge of managing the day-to-day operations of all contracted work to be performed on an assigned jobsite. Areas of supervision include commercial landscape full system irrigation installation, landscape construction projects, management of subcontractors and performing certain planning, administrative and regulatory functions. The site supervisor will read job plans and specifications and install jobs consistent with those specifications and Bland Landscaping Company criteria.
Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to:
Supervise and train installation crews on all aspects of installation services including promoting safety
Execute the contracted scope of installation projects
Read and execute job plans per specification for the contracted scope
Install plantings, lawns, irrigation, and hardscapes
Digging, tilling, planting, raking, watering and clean-up of landscapes
Load and unload heavy equipment and planting materials from trucks
Bagged and Bulk Material handling
Schedule and monitor daily work assignments of Bland Landscaping Company employees and our subcontractors
Plan, coordinate, and collect equipment and materials each day
Perform and participate in crew and department general and safety meetings
Submit daily BOSS Mobile Timesheet
Administrative Paperwork
Truck and Trailer standardization and cleanliness
Use of technology for communication
Communicate daily with Production Manager on progress and planning
Daily start up and shut down procedures
Job Quality
Hours management
Safe driving of company-owned vehicles (with or without trailers)
Ability to adjust irrigation controllers and basic knowledge of irrigation components
Maintain on site relations and communications with clients, contractors and subcontractors
Safe operation and maintenance of equipment
May be asked to help in other divisions
Participate in snow removal in the winter months

$45,000 - $52,000
