We are currently seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurseto join our team at Taylor Correctional Institution located in Perry, Florida.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (for Medical and Mental Health) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required

Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

Corrections experience not required

Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check Available Shift: Nights, 12 hour shifts
