Position: Lab Assistant Location: Clifton, New Jersey Employment Type: Part-time Schedule: 12:00am- 5:00am

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Lab Assistant to support daily laboratory operations. This role involves assisting with experiments, maintaining equipment, organizing materials, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare laboratory materials, equipment, and solutions

Assist senior staff with experiments and data collection

Maintain accurate records and lab notebooks

Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols

Clean and sterilize equipment and workspaces

Manage inventory of lab supplies

Perform routine testing, measurements, and sample processing

Qualifications

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent

Basic understanding of laboratory procedures and equipment

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to follow instructions and work independently

Good communication skills

Preferred:

Coursework or degree in biology, chemistry, or related field

Previous lab experience (academic or professional)
