Painter Helper _ South Houston

Purpose of the Position:

Work with ACSI painters to produce a quality finished product each and every time by using personal skills, equipment, and established manufacturing processes associated with finished paint coatings including wet and/or powder coat paint applications.

Essential job functions:

Meet and or exceed company metrics including Safety; Quality; Cost; and Delivery.

Work with painters to reduce waste in manufacturing processes.

Read and interpret drawings allowing manufacturing to build to the design intent.

Prep raw material for the painter to apply paint.

Mix paint pots for the painters.

Keep area clean and free of any safety hazards.

Adhere to any established painting prep processes.

Other tasks as assigned by your supervisor or lead man.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

Ability to read and understand English.

Ability to understand and execute directions from supervisor and or lead man.

Knowledge of reading measurement equipment; tape measure, mil thickness gage.

1-3 years experience in paint process applications preferably Steel and metal structures.

1-3 years working with finished goods painters

Physical Demands:

100% shop.
