We are seeking a Security Guard to help protect the students, staff, and visitors across our agency locations.
As a Security Guard, you'll play a key role in fostering a safe, secure and welcoming environment for those we serve-from young children to staff and to community members of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure safety of students, staff, and visitors throughout the facility
Monitor security cameras and patrol agency buildings and grounds
Coordinate and conduct monthly fire drills, lockdowns, and other emergency procedures
Control building access and verify credentials of visitors
Respond to emergencies and work with local law enforcement and emergency personnel
Prepare and maintain logs, incident reports, and visitor records
Assist with elevator inspections, package delivery, and general support
Participate in agency initiatives, events, and trainings as assigned
Availability for evening, weekend and on-call assignments Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Valid NJ Security Officer Registration Act (SORA) License
Basic computer skills to allow access to email and be able to maintain communication within the agency.
Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergencies
Familiarity with safety regulations and building security procedures
Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism
