Position: Electrician

Past Work Experience Requirements:
• Journeyman skill level to consist of accepted 4 year apprentice program with classroom time and 8000 worked hours or experience and technical skills equal to the apprenticeship from working in the trade for a number of years
• Industrial and commercial as well as conduit experience
Educational Requirements:
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Communication Skills Requirements:
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
Technical Requirements:
• Valid West Virginia Driver's License
• Electrician's License
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints
Physical Requirements:
• Lifting up to 70 pounds regularly
• Walking
• Standing
• Climbing ladders, scaffolding, stairs continuously
• Ability to work in confined spaces
Work Conditions:
• Hot
• Cold
• Dirty
• Wet
• Long hours
• Confined spaces
• Working in high places and on scaffolding
Required Supervision:
• Ability to follow specific general instructions
• Independent decision making skills required
• Ability to work independently
