Volunteers of America Delaware Valley is seeking an experienced and clinically licensed Program Director 4 to oversee our Fletcher House program within the Behavioral Health and Reentry Services Division. This is a dual-impact role combining clinical leadership with operational oversight, ideal for an LCSW or LSW prepared to lead staff, deliver direct psychotherapeutic services, and uphold program integrity.

As Program Director, you will be responsible for supervising a multidisciplinary team, managing client care delivery, maintaining compliance with licensing and treatment standards, and actively engaging in therapeutic work.

What You’ll Do:

Provide psychotherapeutic counseling and clinical assessments for assigned clients

Deliver client-centered advocacy, clinical consultation, and ongoing treatment planning

Supervise staff, conduct performance evaluations, and ensure training compliance

Monitor contract and accreditation compliance across clinical and operational domains

Maintain and revise the Program Policy and Procedures Manual

Support budget planning and operational forecasting

Lead team meetings, house/client forums, and staff development initiatives

Ensure HIPAA and confidentiality standards are upheld across the program

Represent the agency in external coalitions, partnerships, and professional forums

Conduct regular unscheduled visits to evaluate program functioning and safety

Foster community partnerships and internal cohesion across clinical disciplines

Participate in agency-wide outcome tracking and quality assurance efforts

What You Need:

Master’s degree in Social Work or related Human Services field (LCSW or LSW required)

At least 5 years of relevant management experience (or a bachelor’s degree with 7 years in the field)

Proven experience in clinical assessment, mental status evaluation, and treatment planning

Strong working knowledge of the DSM and psychotherapeutic models

Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills

Budget management and team-building experience

Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency driving standards

Bilingual fluency is a plus
