Clinical Instructor (LPN) – Nursing Education & Training
Location: Seneca Nursing and Rehab – Buffalo, NY
Rate: $28.00-$32.00/hour (depending on experience)
Schedule:
Full-Time Day Shift Monday–Friday Some Flexibility Required
Position Summary:
As a Clinical Instructor, you will provide hands-on clinical instruction and supervision to nursing students and staff. You will teach proper nursing techniques, patient care procedures, and best practices in long-term and sub-acute care. You will be an essential part of our onboarding and professional development efforts—helping to elevate the standard of care across the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide on-site clinical instruction to nursing students and new staff during clinical rotations, onboarding, and skill development sessions
Demonstrate and supervise proper techniques in wound care, hygiene, vital signs, documentation, mobility assistance, and other essential procedures
Ensure trainees understand and adhere to infection control, patient safety, and compliance standards
Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback to improve clinical skills and quality of care
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Education teams to align instruction with facility goals and best practices
Maintain clear records of instruction, training logs, and performance evaluations
Support continuing education efforts and skill refresher programs for current employees Qualifications:
Current LPN license and experience
Preferred minimum 2 years of experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or hospital setting
Prior experience as a preceptor, mentor, or trainer preferred not required
Excellent communication, leadership, and clinical skills
