ROLE PURPOSE: The primary purpose of the Manager, Warehouse is to oversee, organize, and manage the day-to-day operations of distribution, logistics, and material handling. This position provides direction to all warehouse staff and collaborates with other departments in meeting business needs.

MAJOR ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Manage performance of receiving, material handling, and shipping functions and KPIs for the department

Manage and prioritize all departmental processes and staff

Ensure the receipt of all incoming goods to the proper location; verify that correct items are received, that quantities received match freight bill and PO, and product is received in good condition.

Ensure shipments are processed to NCI and the customer’s standards.

Ensure prompt and accurate support of QA and Production Dept. related work.

Enforce safety and quality policies and procedures to ensure all work supports 21CFR111 and OSHA regulations

Implement corrective actions when processes or performance are not meeting department standards

Identify and implement improvement opportunities for warehouse space utilization, material flow, other processes

Ensure all organizational, appearance, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse are maintained

Works closely with leadership regarding department staff: training, hiring, termination, performance improvement. KEY COMPETENCIES:

Ability to coach, develop, and inspire front-line workers

Manage competing priorities by determining area of greatest business need

Ability to manage a dashboard of KPIs to track department success and intervene when necessary EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION and CREDENTIALS:

5+ years of experience in distribution, warehousing, and logistics related activities

Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred

Experience in and understanding of GMP based manufacturing operations

Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legislative guidelines

The target salary range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. New Chapter considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
