Description - What You'll Do

Conduct fundamental and specialized clinical laboratory assays-chemistry, hematology, immunology, and other tests-in accordance with established standards.

Assess results for precision, solve issues, and perform necessary maintenance and calibration on lab equipment.

Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for examination as necessary.

Document all procedures meticulously, train new employees or learners, and contribute to maintaining laboratory quality protocols.

Ensure a tidy, secure work environment while aligning with regulatory and accrediting body standards. Education

Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health discipline with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. Certifications

Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.

Keep current certification active throughout your tenure. Skills
