Advanced Supply Chain Operations Manager

Overview: This role is dedicated to managing and overseeing supply chain operations for medical/surgical and surgical services inventories. You will lead logistics, shipping/receiving, and distribution efforts across a regional healthcare network in the Midwest. As a key member of the supply chain leadership team, you will help develop processes and implement strategic goals to optimize department performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage supply chain planning and operations to ensure timely availability of supplies supporting all departments.

Lead execution of supply chain initiatives and collaborate with team members to meet organizational goals.

Partner with leadership on budgeting and oversee expense reconciliation for operations.

Supervise operations associates, including training, scheduling, assignments, discipline, and performance evaluations.

Enforce best practices in receiving, including use of automated tools, shipment inspection, and documentation for chain of custody.

Maintain accuracy and discipline in perpetual inventory transactions, providing guidance to associates to ensure excellent service levels.

Develop and maintain a PAR (Periodic Automatic Replenishment) program, including regular reviews and communication enhancement between internal customers and supply chain.

Serve as subject matter expert for the Workday Inventory module and related perpetual inventory information.

Act as a primary supply chain contact for internal customers, ensuring effective communication with clinical and non-clinical leadership.

Collaborate with supply chain leaders to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain operations.

Certifications: Preferred certifications include Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP) and Supplier Professional in Supply Management (SPSM).
