Key Responsibilities
Serve as the on-site point of contact for clients
Hire, supervise, mentor, and manage field craft employees
Conduct safety orientations and enforce Sunstone and industry safety practices
Oversee material handling and delivery on-site
Lead and supervise cooling tower erection and repairs
Maintain daily reports and time tracking
Coordinate rental equipment and supply vendors
Complete project close-out including paperwork and client approval
Monitor project budgets and control job costs
Develop and manage project schedules and work plans
Oversee subcontractor performance and progress
Organize and lead pre-construction meetings
Train Foremen and junior Superintendents
Inspect work to ensure compliance with plans and specifications
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve construction issues
Interpret project drawings and schedules
Contribute to strategy during bidding and planning phases
Manage resources on large, complex projects Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
10-12 years in field cooling tower construction
Minimum 3 years experience as a Foreman
Construction management experience preferred
OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications Certification & Skills
Valid Driver's License
CPR and First Aid certification
Proficiency with Windows-based applications
Rigging, forklift, and man lift certifications
Strong knowledge of OSHA safety practices
Excellent verbal and written communication
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Physical Requirements
Lift up to 50 lbs, climb structures, bend, stoop, and kneel
Operate computer and complete reports
Work in fast-paced environments with multiple priorities
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Work Environment
Primarily outdoor construction sites or industrial facilities
Exposure to loud noise, elevated work platforms, and hazardous materials
