Job Summary
Works onsite at NSWC Dahlgren and may require occasional off-hours support (e.g. evenings). Has prior experience in a continuous integration/continuous development (CI/CD) environment using containerization technologies (e.g. Red Hat Openshift, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.) and cloud environments (e.g. Amazon Web Services).
Reports to Client Project Manager and the Government customer. Travel is not required.
Responsibilities and Duties
Supports code deployments, including performing troubleshooting, spin up services/pods, etc. Performs CI/CD pipeline patching, upgrades, and vulnerability scans. Implements Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
Qualifications and Skills
Required knowledge and years of experience
Must have at least six (6) years of experience. Must have experience with containerization technologies, development methodologies, DEVSECOPS and supporting CI/CD pipelines. Required experience includes
Experience with automated UI test tools (TestCafé Studio, Selenium, Cucumber etc.)
Experience with Infrastructure testing - Gitlab - prod admin, capability to do merge requests, more hw than sw, dev ops is a study in progress
Ability to activate pods, troubleshoot system issues - some experience managing Linux servers
Significant experience with application monitoring tools - e.g. Rocketchat, Argo, Rabbitmq, Grafana, Cordoning Pods, etc.
Proficiency with Kubernetes and Argo
Experience with Jira or similar work management and software development tools (e.g, Azure DevOps, GitLab, Confluence).
Education Requirements
Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is preferred, but not required. In lieu of a BS Degree, six (6) years of demonstrated and established experience.
