as soon as possible The Head Cheerleading Coach is responsible for organizing and executing the cheer program at Jennings High School. He/she is responsible for coaching student athletes in competitive cheerleading techniques to prepare them for events and competitions. He/she is to motivate student athletes to develop an appreciation of the sport.Responsible for developing and implementing cheerleading programs, coaching athletes, managing team logistics, and fostering a positive team environment, ensuring safety, and complying with school and league policies. Key duties include conducting practices, choreographing routines, supervising athletes, managing budgets and equipment, coordinating with the athletic department and parents, and promoting sportsmanship and academic success.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Works with cheerleaders during practices, events, and competitions.

Holds organizational meetings for team prospects and encourages students to participate.

Assesses skills and assigns team positions; chooses team members.

Creates choreography and cheers; organizes practice sessions.

Monitors each cheerleader, recommending safe techniques, and supervising warm-ups.

Works with the Sponsors in scheduling facilities for practices and competition.
