Key Responsibilities of the Travel Ultrasound Technician

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures safely and accurately.

• Position patients and operate ultrasound equipment according to physician orders.

• Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond to any changes.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

• Maintain accurate documentation of imaging procedures and patient records.

• Adhere to safety, infection control, and radiation protection protocols.

• Educate patients regarding procedures and post-exam instructions.

Requirements for the Travel Ultrasound Technician Role

• Active ARDMS certification or equivalent.

• Minimum of 2+ years of recent Ultrasound Technician experience.

• Strong technical, critical-thinking, and patient-care skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
