TRUEdotDESIGN is seeking a creative Social Media & Content Manager to help bring our clients’ comms, social and events game to the next level.

Position Type: Full-Time

As a Social Media & Content Manager, you live and breathe developing strategic, creative, and impactful content. You truly understand the agency world and will hit the ground running with your expertise in developing and executing social media strategies and content for a broad range of client industries across traditional and digital channels. Bonus points: you also love planning and managing events!

As a comms team member, you are responsible for delivering on our content development promises – all of them. You are viewed by clients and peers as a trusted, responsive, and reliable resource, confidently able to answer social media strategy, analytical & technical questions, as well as strategic copywriting questions.

At TRUEdotDESIGN, the Social Media & Content Manager role is focused on a variety of tasks, including:

Develop social media strategies for your clients, including creative and innovative social media marketing ideas to enhance brand visibility and engagement

Create engaging copy for multiple channels, including websites, blogs, social media platforms, digital ads, campaign landing pages, award submissions, media releases, materials, etc. (SEO-optimized copy where applicable)

Create client-tailored social media editorial calendars and tools, including hashtag map, mention map, etc., to reach target audiences

Manage social media accounts and day-to-day engagement, including:

Optimize social channels

Curate and manage all content, including account profiles, posts, reels, videos, promoted posts and social ads (images, video, and copy)

Managing monthly boosted posts budget

Collaborate with designers for branded graphics and Canva templates

Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “social” and business-minded way to support client’s business objectives

Engage on behalf of clients to grow audiences through outreach efforts and to open streams for cross-promotions

Manage efforts in building online reviews and reputation: monitor and respond to online reviews

Utilize analytical tools and data to measure performance, extract insights, and optimize strategies for maximum impact

Develop monthly, quarterly, or campaign-specific reports to showcase results, highlights, and recommendations, present to the client team

Support the planning and coordination of small to large-scale events (event themes, moodboards, schedule management, vendor management & coordination, on-site coordination, etc.)

Conduct research as needed

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging social media marketing tactics

Track and manage project timelines, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure timely completion of tasks

Ensure quality assurance of all project elements

Project-related communications and scheduling – internally and with the client

Other client-related or administrative duties as required

To be considered for this position, you’ve got to have some (or all) of these skills and qualities:

Post-Secondary education in Social Media Marketing (or related field) and/or an interesting combination of education and experience

Minimum of 3 years of agency experience in a Social Media position or similar multiple-client support environment

Outstanding writing skills with the ability to understand brand voice and tone for a range of clients

Excels at curating and generating new content regularly

In-depth knowledge of digital platforms including but not limited to LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, TikTok

Knowledge of social media advertising strategy and implementation

Relevant valid certifications are a plus

Relevant event planning experience will set you apart

Ability to take ownership of tasks assigned, effectively problem-solve, and stay on budget

Demonstrates high responsiveness to all team members, clients, suppliers, and partners

Demonstrates ability to handle multiple, simultaneous priorities while delivering ongoing accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks performed

Projects a professional image through written communications and in-person when participating in meetings, presentations, events, etc.

Experience developing and presenting social media reporting and recommendations

A desire to stay current on social media trends, tools, and tactics
