Internship – Employee Engagement

The internship

By joining this team, you'll have the opportunity to Contribute to our Global Talent & Performance Management agenda by:

Assisting in the preparation of Global Communication to our >80 operating companies world-wide.

Assisting with the facilitation of skill building sessions for the HR Community involved in our Continuous Listening activities.

Participate in the execution from start to finish of our Company wide Climate Survey with support from our external vendors.

Assisting in extracting insights and findings and preparing outputs to our senior management population.

Conduct retrospective feedback sessions with our Continuous Listening Community to ensure our processes are continuously improved and user friendly.

You will also be involved in other related activities, depending on the needs and your interests.

Your new team and workplace

Join our team at HEINEKEN's Global Talent & Leadership department, located at our headquarters in Amsterdam. As part of the Global Talent and Performance Management Team, this role will play a relevant role in supporting our global employee engagement initiatives and continuous employee listening strategy.

Currently in HBO or WO education

Fluent English language required

Eager to learn and high learning agility

Pro-active, pragmatic with a hands-on mentality and attention to detail and quality

Team worker with the ability to lead your own projects and juggle priorities

Excellent communication skills, well-versed at wrapping up complex ideas and projects in a concise way and ability to connect with diverse people and cultures.

Experienced user of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Conditions of HEINEKEN

You are enrolled at an educational institution for the entire duration of your internship and can provide proof of enrollment for the current academic year during your onboarding.

In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution.

In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.

You reside in the Netherlands for the entire duration of your internship. Please note that HEINEKEN does not provide housing.

You are in possession of a valid citizen service number (BSN).

Our Internship Conditions

During your time as an intern at HEINEKEN, you’ll work in a dynamic environment where growing and learning are at the heart of everything we do. Together, we brew your future step by step. In addition, we offer you:

A full-time / part-time (min 4 days a week) practice-oriented internship, starting on February 1, 2026

The duration of the internship is 6 months (exact dates to be agreed upon with your internship supervisor)

Your home office will be in Amsterdam.

At HEINEKEN, we work with a hybrid model, typically spending three days a week at the office and two days working from home

You will receive a monthly internship allowance of €650 gross based on a 40-hour workweek

You will earn 2 vacation days per month (based on a full-time internship)

If you do not have a public transport student subscription, your commuting costs will be fully reimbursed
