Responsibilities:
· Small team leader (with Technologists, Reliability Engineers and Continuous Improvement Engineers) to prioritize, coordinate and execute efforts for the assets of responsibility
· Provides technical oversight of ongoing production
· Leads troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex issues
· Key role in the development and tactical execution of the 5-year Technology Plan
· Accountable for oversight of the reliability programs for the assigned assets
· Enables and assists in the training of operators, mechanics and other technical team members to convey the “why” of the fundamentals
· Drives the development and documentation for product-by-process manufacturing
· Designs process improvements (yield, quality, uptime, capacity release)
· Implements, including commissioning and qualification, programs and/or process improvements
· Participates in the PACE/Improvement Process for development prior to scale-up of new products
· Responsible to ensure adequate basic data is created for CapEx projects and provides resourcing support (e.g. develops plans and/or covers Commissioning, Decommissioning, Start-Up and Shut Down activities)
· May lead a PSM Technology Elements (Process Technology, PHA, Management of Change-Technology)
· Networks and leverages the broader organization (Engineering Sciences, R&D, Marketing, etc.)
Qualifications:
1. Education: Master’s degree or above in Chemical/Materials Engineering etc.
2. Language: Communicate fluently in both Mandarin Chinese and English
3. Leadership or functional competency:
a) Influential leader who can engage and lead others.
b) High level of confidence in his / her decision-making skills.
c) Can look at the big picture and make the correct decision.
d) Excellent organization and time management skills to include prioritization, scheduling, and optimizing shift team skills and resources.
e) Has built positive working relationships with others across the organization and functional support organizations that enable other roles to be successful to perform their roles through influential leadership and coaching.
f) Ability to value assess service request and coach shift team members when they are not aligned to current plant goals.
g) Thorough knowledge of the plant process technology.
h) Confident with current computer applications and skills.
4. Others: Microsoft Office and another common E tool within Dupont (SAP).
