Car Transporter

Job Description

Small wholesale car dealership looking to hire transporters to transport cars in the Midwest area. This position will consists of picking up cars, inspecting cars, and delivering them to their delivery location. Pay is determined by the travel distance of the haul and the amount of cars hauled during the week. Transporters will be paid weekly every Friday for the previous week's work. Transporter must also be available to work Mon-Fri from 8am-8pm Saturday is an optional workday. Company will supply fuel costs, towing equipment, & possible hotel expenses but transporter is required to have and use their own vehicle to transport cars. This is a 1099 independent contractor position.

Requirements:

- Must have your own reliable 1/2 ton pickup truck (F-150,1500) or large sized SUV (Yukon, Expedition) with tow hitch receiver on vehicle, no diesel vehicles.

- Must be at least 25 years old with valid driver's license with clean driving record (no points on MVR)

- No felonies on background check as well as be able to pass urinalysis drug screen within 10 days of job offer.

- Must be able to pass a D.O.T. physical
