Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist is needed at an elementary school serving PreK through 5th grade students in Blackwell, OK. This contract position runs through May 21, 2026, with an immediate start date. The role involves providing specialized speech-language services to a caseload of 47 young learners, supporting their communication development within a single school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in children PreK-5th grade
Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement therapy sessions tailored to each student's needs
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
Participate in team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives for student success
Qualifications:
Masters degree in speech-language pathology or a closely related field
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
Experience working in school settings highly desired
Ability to work with a diverse caseload of students
Strong communication and organizational skills
