Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Educational Diagnostician or School Psychologist to support K-12 students within a dynamic school environment in Morgan City, Louisiana. This contract position spans the entire school year and involves working closely with educators, parents, and students to assess and address diverse learning and behavioral needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive educational and psychological assessments for students K-12.
Interpret assessment results and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) or intervention strategies.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success.
Monitor student progress and make recommendations for further services or adjustments.
Provide counseling and support as needed to promote positive academic and emotional outcomes.
Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with applicable laws and guidelines.
Desired Qualifications:
Certification or licensure as an Educational Diagnostician or School Psychologist.
Experience working with K-12 student populations.
Strong assessment and diagnostic abilities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Knowledge of relevant state and federal education regulations.
