General Placement Service is assisting their client, a dynamic and well-respected wholesale brokerage, in hiring an experienced Commercial Insurance professional.

Our client specializes in hard-to-place insurance risks, with particular expertise in professional liability, excess coverage, and other specialty lines. Key Responsibilities

Develop and service new and renewal business for carrier partners.

Prepare proposals, quotes, and marketing strategies to grow the book of business.

Provide responsive service to producing agents, including troubleshooting billing and system issues.

Maintain strong knowledge of carrier guidelines, coverage forms, and industry trends.

Build and manage agency and carrier relationships through outreach, cold calling, and travel as needed.

Utilize agency management systems to manage accounts and documentation.

Maintain a valid P&C producer license and complete required CE.

Qualifications

3+ years of commercial insurance experience.

Ability to obtain/maintain a Property & Casualty license within 90 days.

Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and insurance management systems.
