Key Responsibilities

Design and develop new products, components, and systems from concept to production.

Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models, assemblies, and technical drawings.

Conduct design analysis, simulations (e.g., FEA), and validations to optimize performance and manufacturability.

Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are optimized for production processes (DFM/DFA).

Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes based on design requirements, cost, and performance.

Develop and maintain comprehensive engineering documentation, including BOMs, specifications, and test plans.

Support prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting activities for new and existing products.

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor) for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, welding, injection molding, sheet metal fabrication).

Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.

Knowledge of engineering materials, their properties, and application in product design.

Ability to apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.

Bonus Qualifications

Proficiency with FEA or CFD simulation software.

Demonstrated knowledge of specific manufacturing processes such as injection molding, CNC machining, or sheet metal fabrication.

Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, or shop floor operations.

Understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
