Principal SAP IT Engineer - Leader in Transitioning To Clean Energy
We are looking for an accomplished SAP expert to take a leading role in shaping and delivering enterprise-level solutions. This Principal IT Engineer position blends deep technical expertise with strategic thinkingdesigning, building, and optimizing SAP landscapes while collaborating across agile teams.
Responsibilities include:
Architect & Build: Design, develop, and deploy sophisticated SAP solutions that elevate the performance, reliability, and security of critical products and platforms.
Innovate & Enhance: Identify opportunities to streamline operations, implement new features, and optimize integrations for maximum business impact.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into elegant technical solutions.
Quality & Standards: Lead code reviews, configuration audits, and adherence to architectural best practices to maintain consistency and high standards across platforms.
Support & Troubleshoot: Provide advanced technical support, quickly diagnosing and resolving issues to maintain system stability.
Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends to infuse innovation into SAP architectures and guide long-term platform evolution.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
10+ years in IT product or platform engineering, software development, or related areas.
5+ years of SAP development experience with strong expertise in SAP BTP.
5+ years of designing and managing integrations using APIs and MuleSoft.
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-on experience within the utilities or energy sector.
Proven track record of leading technical teams and mentoring engineers.
Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to architect end-to-end solutions for complex environments.
