The City of Upper Arlington is eagerly seeking engaging and interactive teachers to support the 2025 Safety Town Program. This position involves using creative methods to teach young children about the importance of pedestrian safety while fostering a supportive, educational environment.

Examples of Duties
Primary Duties Include:
Providing instruction and care for 10-13 children in a classroom setting
Using a variety of means to clarify each day's major safety themes
Creatively utilizing materials such as storybooks, crafts, drama and music
Helping provide hands-on rules of bicycle and pedestrian safety rules at an outdoor miniature village
Providing assistance and supervision during recess time
Typical Qualifications
Certified teacher in the State of Ohio; valid driver's license; willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions; ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and the public; ability to work and communicate with small children.
