Salary Range: $80,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for production, technical, and administrative roles.

Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws, including OSHA regulations.

Administer compensation and benefits programs, including hourly wages and shift differentials.

Develop and implement training programs focused on safety, technical skills, and leadership for manufacturing staff.

Drive performance management processes to support operational efficiency and quality standards.

Partner with plant leadership to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with manufacturing goals.

Recommended Qualifications

Experience managing HR functions within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

In-depth knowledge of labor laws, OSHA regulations, and HR best practices specific to production facilities.

Proven track record in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management in a plant setting.

Experience with workforce planning, talent acquisition, and retention strategies for skilled labor and production roles.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) preferred.

Demonstrated experience with safety programs and workers' compensation management within an industrial setting.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen) or continuous improvement methodologies.

Previous experience in a unionized manufacturing environment, including labor relations or collective bargaining.

Familiarity with OSHA regulations and industrial safety programs.

Proficiency in a second language common in the local workforce (e.g., Spanish).
