Salary Range: $82,000 - $127,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs.

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA).

Conduct EHS risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.

Manage and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs for all employees.

Oversee environmental programs including waste management, air emissions, and water quality.

Lead the development and implementation of emergency response plans and drills.

Drive continuous improvement in EHS performance through regular audits and inspections.

Recommended Qualifications

Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or management capacity.

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.

Professional EHS certification (e.g., Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM)).

In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other federal, state, and local EHS regulations applicable to manufacturing operations.

Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and managing EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).

Bonus Qualifications

Experience implementing lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies for EHS process optimization.

Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 14001 or ISO 45001.

Proficiency with EHS management software platforms (e.g., Gensuite, Intelex).

Project management certification (e.g., PMP) or extensive experience leading large-scale EHS initiatives.

Bilingual or multilingual skills, particularly Spanish, to support a diverse workforce.
