This travel nursing job offers professional growth, competitive pay, and the chance to experience the welcoming Bay City community.\n\n\nLabor & Delivery RN Job Details\n\n Location: Bay City, Texas 77414 (Texas nursing jobs)\n Healthcare Setting: Acute Care – Labor & Delivery / Postpartum Unit\n Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 11/29/2025 – End: 2/28/2026)\n Shifts: 12-hour nights, 7 on/7 off, 36/48 rotating schedule\n Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week\n Estimated Weekly Pay: $1680–$1800 per week\n Unit Details: 4 L&D beds, 2 triage beds, 6 postpartum beds\n Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend\n Scrubs: Provided or royal blue; hospital scrubs required for C-sections\n\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n\n Minimum 2 years of travel nursing experience (travel RN jobs)\n Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery specialty experience (L&D nurse experience)\n Active RN license (Texas or compact state)\n BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications (all must be AHA)\n STABLE Certification\n Intro to Fetal Monitoring (not via AWHONN)\n C-section experience required\n Ability to float between Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units\n\n\nLabor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities\n\n Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients\n Monitor fetal heart rates using Centricity QS system\n Accurately document patient care in Meditech EMR\n Assist with C-sections and post-surgical recoveries\n Collaborate with charge nurse, OB techs, and multidisciplinary healthcare team\n Support mothers through labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery\n Respond to obstetric emergencies and provide advanced life support\n Maintain high standards of patient safety, satisfaction, and clinical excellence\n\n\n \n Discover the charm of Bay City, Texas, while making a difference in maternal and newborn health.
