Scope of Position

Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering, the Structural Designer will play a key role in bringing innovative structures to life while supporting our internal teams and clients. Responsibilities

Operate in alignment with our core company values

Participate in engineering workload meetings as needed

Travel occasionally to project or client sites

Create precise construction and shop drawings using AutoCAD

Help to generate preliminary designs for the sales team

Perform structural calculations on product components

Interpret and apply AASHTO, ACI, ASCE, and relevant building codes

Review and verify drawings for technical accuracy and completeness

Develop a deep understanding of our products and manufacturing processes

Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering Technology (or similar field)

Proficiency in AutoCAD

Experience with construction and fabrication drawings

Strong ability to interpret consultant construction drawings

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent verbal and written communication

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Team player mindset with the ability to collaborate and meet deadlines

Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
