Your Role and Responsibilities

Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic procedures, and creating individualized care plans

Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in partnership with physicians or independently (based on your certification)

Educating patients and their families on wellness, disease prevention, and management

Prescribing medications and therapeutic interventions within your practice scope

Maintaining accurate and detailed records within electronic medical records (EMR) Education and Credentials

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Necessary Certifications

Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Ohio

National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
