Industrial Pipefitter - Gary, IN

Pay: $32-$36 per hour (DOE)

Hours: 45-55 hours per week, some Saturdays

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Industrial Pipefitters to join our team in Gary, IN.

This is an excellent opportunity for skilled tradesmen who value precision, safety, and high-quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

Install and assemble piping systems according to blueprints and specifications

Cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand and power tools

Weld pipes using FCAW and soldering methods

Test piping systems for leaks and verify proper functionality

Maintain and repair existing piping systems as needed

Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and budget goals

Follow all safety procedures and comply with OSHA and industry regulations Qualifications

Proven experience as an Industrial Pipefitter or similar role

Strong knowledge of pipefitting tools, materials, and techniques

Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately

Proficient in basic math and layout calculations

Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods

Valid driver's license and clean driving record

OSHA 10 required
