Description:

Financial Controller High-Growth Fashion Brand (E-Commerce) London / Hybrid

Harmonic is excited to partner with a founder-led e-commerce brand known for its bold style, distinctive creative DNA, and trend-setting, influencer-fuelled following. Worn by leading creators, models, and rising talent, the brand is stepping into an explosive growth phase including global expansion, accelerating wholesale, and levelling up its finance function to power decision-making.

To help this next phase, the company is hiring a Commercial Financial Controller who can bring structure, clarity, and commercial insight to a dynamic, fast-paced environment. With a clear path to a Finance Director role in the next 12-18 months, this is an exceptional opportunity for someone who loves the energy of a scaling brand and wants real ownership leading financial operations, forecasting, systems, and controls from the ground up.

You’ll be joining a creative, and highly collaborative culture where transparency, trust, and open communication are at the heart of how people work. The founders are hands-on, inspiring, and genuinely passionate about building something special, and you’ll play a key role in shaping the next chapter of the journey. It's a team where new ideas are welcomed, where autonomy is celebrated, and where you’re encouraged to make a real impact.

The Role

Own financial operations and month-end across UK and several international entities

Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling to support strategic decisions.

Lead cash-flow management

Assess current systems and tools (including Xero), recommending improvements or changes where needed and driving finance tech optimisation.

Partner with founders and department leads, producing clear insight for commercial decisions.

Produce clear financial insights for non-finance stakeholders, articulating key drivers, risks, and opportunities.

Manage cost-centre reporting and support the shift from a primarily D2C model toward greater wholesale revenue.

What we need to see (essential):

Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).

Previous experience in a product-based business (food & beverage, fashion, beauty FMCG etc)

Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.

Excellent communication skills to work effectively with non-finance teams and liaise with external stakeholders.

Familiarity with high-growth, founder-led environments.

What we would like to see (non-essential):

Experience operating in an omnichannel environment

Strong multicurrency exposure

Proven track record in streamlining systems or leading finance process improvements

Salary : £70,000-80,000 + benefits

Location : London (3 days in-office)

Start date : ASAP
