QA Test Lead Experience: 7- 9 Years

About the Role

We are seeking a QA hands-on lead with strong leadership, good-to-have cybersecurity exposure, and a modern, AI-aware mindset toward quality engineering. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end QA lifecycle—defining the test strategy, establishing the test approach, managing a team of functional testers, enabling automation, and ensuring each release meets the highest standards for functionality, security, performance, and user experience. You will also promote AI-driven efficiency across QA planning, reporting, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

Define and own the QA strategy and process maturity across product releases.

Collaborate with Development leads, the Product Manager, and CS Engineers to validate feature readiness and build an actionable QA plan for releases.

Work with CS/Sales teams to conduct demos and walkthrough sessions for UAT handover.

Manage test planning, estimation, execution tracking, and defect tracking.

Drive NFR testing, including Security, Performance, and User Experience validations.

Author, review, and approve test plans, test cases, and regression suites for completeness.

Ensure continuous test process improvement using AI-assisted tools.

Assist in integrating QA workflows with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.

Conduct root-cause analysis of user incidents and ensure preventive QA measures are implemented.

Maintain instances for demos and simulations.

Preferred Experience

Product company background, preferably in the cybersecurity space.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

ISTQB Advanced Test Manager certification (preferred).

Prior experience in Cybersecurity Product QA.

Exposure to AI-based testing tools or quality analytics frameworks.

Experience in Agile/DevSecOps environments.
