We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Collections Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of accounts, communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances, and work to resolve delinquencies in a professional, solution focused manner. The ideal candidate brings strong negotiation skills, attention to detail and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding collection targets while still keeping a personal level of handling collections with our customers.

Responsibilities:

Manage outbound and inbound collection calls on past-due accounts

Develop and maintain positive customer relationships while securing payments

Negotiate payment plans and settlements within company guidelines

Document all account activity accurately and efficiently

Collaborate with management to resolve billing discrepencies

Submit all Fuel Assistance requirements and make sure payments are received

Requirements:

2-5 years+ years of professional collections experience

Strong communication and negotiation skills

High level of organization and accuracy in record keeping

Ability to maintain professionalism in challenging situations

Familiarity with collection laws and regulations

Experience with CRM /Cargas software preferred
