Nursing Assistant

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Nursing Assistant (NA's) perform tasks and procedures within their scope of practice under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) across all units in the Critical Access Hospital. Settings include Inpatient, Emergency Department, Obstetrics, Outpatient Services, and home settings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.

Demonstrated ability to interpret verbal and written medical terminology.

Demonstrated proficiency in written, verbal, and virtual communication, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues, patients, and external partners.

Demonstrated ability to work across multiple departments and provide care to a diverse patient population, including acute, chronic, neonate, pediatric, and geriatric needs.

Demonstrated proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms with attention to accuracy and compliance.
