Job Title: Microsoft 365 & Endpoint Administrator, Associate

Job Overview

This mid-level role is ideal for candidates with hands?on experience Microsoft 365 technologies, SharePoint administration, endpoint management, and Tier 3 support. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, security posture, and compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001.

The ideal candidate will bring hands?on experience in managing SharePoint environments, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Purview, Intune deployments, and Microsoft Defender. Responsibilities also include vendor and license management, public DNS/IP registration, asset tracking, and financial reconciliation support.

Key Responsibilities

SharePoint and Microsoft 365 Administration

Administer SharePoint Online sites including permissions, libraries, lists, Hub Site configuration, and integrations.

Implement and promote SharePoint Copilot functionality to drive user efficiency.

Serve as a subject matter expert for Microsoft 365 integrations and best practices.

Identify and Security

Manage user identities and access through Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure AD).

Execute onboarding/offboarding workflows, group memberships, and license assignments.

Configure role?based access control and conditional access policies.

Maintain endpoint protection and threat detection using Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.

Data Governance

Configure and maintain sensitivity labels and classification rules in Microsoft Purview to support data protection and compliance needs.

Endpoint Management

Deploy and manage Windows devices using Microsoft Intune, including application deployment, compliance settings, and device provisioning.

Infrastructure and Support

Manage public DNS, static IPs, and domain registrations.

Provide technical support for IT related issues and assist with root cause analysis.

Oversee asset management, ensuring accurate inventory, assignment, and disposal tracking.

Vendor and License Management

Maintain vendor relationships and coordinate contract renewals.

Track and manage software licenses, entitlements, and compliance with usage terms.

Policy and Compliance

Act as custodian for ISO 27001?aligned IT policies, ensuring documentation is current, accessible, and auditable.

Support audits, internal reviews, and policy updates in alignment with ISO standards and security frameworks.

Reporting and Administration

Reconcile and compile monthly expense reports, including credit card receipt consolidation and tracking.

Create and maintain internal knowledge base articles, SOPs, and documentation.

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in IT systems support or infrastructure administration roles.

Proficiency in Microsoft 365 technologies, especially SharePoint, Entra, Intune, Purview, and Defender.

Experience with DNS/IP management, endpoint deployment, and security monitoring.

Strong working knowledge of ISO 27001 or similar IT compliance frameworks.

Demonstrated ability to manage IT vendors and software license portfolios.

Excellent communication, problem?solving, and documentation skills.

Ability to work on?site during standard business hours (8:30 AM - 5:30 PM), Monday through Friday and after hours if needed.

Preferred Certifications and Skills

Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert (MS?102)

Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals

Experience supporting IT audits or contributing to ISO 27001 certification initiatives.

Scripting experience (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and reporting.

Familiarity with ITSM platforms and ticketing workflow

ITIL v4 Foundation

Compensation and Benefits

The projected compensation range for this position is $90,000 to $105,000 per year benchmarked in the New York area. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
