Etnyre International is a growing, family-owned manufacturer of road construction and maintenance equipment. We are hiring a Seasonal Manufacturing Engineering Intern to support our Continuous Improvement program and help drive efficiency throughout our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and document process controls for manufacturing
• Assist Continuous Improvement Leaders in writing work instructions
• Analyze workflow, space needs, and equipment layouts to improve efficiency
• Maintain process and product databases through data entry or simple programming
• Conduct time studies in various manufacturing departments
• Assist with fixture design and implementation
• Support the evaluation process for new machinery
• Perform additional engineering tasks as assigned
Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Physical Requirements
• Occasional bending or twisting
• Ability to lift 10 to 20 pounds during routine tasks
