**Job Title: 1st shift Welder, $25+/hr**
**Job Description**
Join our expanding weld department as we grow to accommodate additional shifts. This role involves completing welds on production runs for a diverse array of parts across multiple industries. Enjoy the varied nature of a job shop environment, with production runs ranging in size.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform MIG welding primarily on steel, with occasional work on aluminum for specific customer orders.
+ Interpret blueprints to determine weld locations and ensure proper integration into the final product.
+ Use a tape measure to verify weld placement and dimensions according to specifications.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in MIG welding.
+ Ability to interpret blueprints.
+ Experience using a tape measure for accurate weld placement.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ TIG welding experience is a plus and adds flexibility to the workforce.

**Work Environment**
Work in a metal fabrication manufacturing setting that is fairly clean but not climate-controlled. Choose from first, second, or third shift schedules: 1st shift: 6:50am - 3pm, 2nd shift: 2:50pm - 11pm, 3rd shift: 10:50pm - 7am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plain City, OH.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $29.00/hr.
