Temporary Administrative Assistant
Description:
The State of Connecticut is seeking a Temporary Administrative Assistant to support their team in Hartford. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a professional office environment.
This is an onsite role, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AMâ 5:00 PM, for approximately six months, offering $20.43 per hour.
Responsibilities:
Support staff with travel planning, approvals, and reimbursements.
Create, edit, and proofread documents under manager direction, ensuring proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
Assist in following and developing office processes and procedures.
Manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload efficiently.
Troubleshoot issues to assist senior staff in completing tasks.
Perform general office administration duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of investment terminology.
Considerable interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Skilled in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
Ability to follow processes and procedures independently.
Previous office administration experience preferred.
