We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at our mine site in Dubois, ID. This role will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of heavy equipment used in mining operations, ensuring that all machinery is operating efficiently and safely. The successful candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment maintenance and a commitment to upholding high standards of safety and reliability.Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance on heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, and loaders

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with equipment

Repair and replace parts as needed

Conduct preventive maintenance inspections

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols

Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs

Assist with equipment upgrades and modificationsQualifications:

Proven experience as a heavy equipment mechanic

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and hydraulic systems

Kamatsu certification and training a must

Excellent problem-solving skills

Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship

Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
