Job Overview

Join a Level 1 Trauma, 18-room Operating Room performing a wide variety of complex surgical procedures. This is a fast-paced, high-acuity environment supporting specialties such as General Surgery, Trauma, Ortho, Neuro, Spine, Robotics, ENT, Plastics, Burns, GYN, Urology, and Transplant.

NO RTO accepted between 2/15/26 – 2/28/26.

Call Required:

Mon–Fri: 21:00–06:30

Sat & Sun: 06:30–19:00 and 19:00–06:30

Floating Required within OSU system as needed.

Responsibilities

Provide intraoperative nursing care for diverse surgical cases.

Circulate and scrub with strong focus in Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery.

Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical techs.

Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC.

Adhere to Level 1 Trauma OR protocols and sterile techniques.

Requirements

2 years minimum OR RN experience

Level 1 Trauma experience preferred

Strong scrub experience across multiple service lines

BLS required

EPIC experience preferred

Must have valid compact or OH license in hand at time of submission

Education must be ACEN or CCNE accredited

Locals accepted at same rate
