Assist students with self-regulation (Prioritize self-regulation within the classroom setting)
Meet with students individually and in small groups to teach self-regulation, executive function, and/or social skills
Promote, support, and model the SCS Tier 1 Social Emotional Learning initiative
Assist MTSS team with behavior referrals and behavior plan development for Tier 2 and Tier 3 supports
Support teachers on strategies to help with student behavior and decrease time outside of the classroom setting
Member of building-level crisis response team
Performs other tasks as the Administrator, Behavior Support Team, or his/her designee may assign
Communicate with building staff, including but not limited to special education staff, general education staff and administration, regarding behavior supports for students
Collaborate with service providers and related service personnel
Collect data as required by the supervising teacher and staff
Maintain satisfactory attendance
Responsible and willing to take initiative
CPR certification and/or ability to be trained and certified
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification and/or ability to be trained and certified
Attend required professional development as assigned by the Behavior Team and administration
Complies with Corporation Bylaws, Policies, and Employee Handbook
Model Corporation Mission Statement and Fundamental Objectives
