Position Summary

As an Analytics Engineer within the Pharmacy Services Finance Business Intelligence, Automation, & Analytics organization, you'll have the opportunity to become a trusted consultant to the CFO organization, building scalable and sustainable pipelines for massive amounts of enterprise data. Leveraging industry leading technology, you'll be tasked with engineering the architecture of Finance data supporting critical analytics from numerous disparate sources, all integrated into semantic models and marts. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate closely with business stakeholders and analytics partners to dive deep into the data at CVS Health, ensuring data-driven decisions can be made on a timely and consistent basis.

Job Responsibilities

Develop high quality, scalable architecture and integration for data pipelines and models

Translate complex business questions and requirements into accessible data structures that can be leveraged to drive analytics and decision-making

Leverage industry standard methodologies to build sustainable and automated source data extraction, load, and transformation

Craft appropriate documentation to ensure sustainability and usability by technical partners

Build strong and enduring relationships with business partners, promoting trust and collaboration

Proactively partner with data visualization & analytics partners to collaborate on solution architecture and execution

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience writing advanced to expert level SQL within database systems such as SAP HANA, Google BigQuery, Teradata

3+ years of experience with orchestration and pipeline engineering technology such as Airflow, Spark, Kubernetes, preferably Composer / Dataproc

3+ years of experience analyzing large data sets with a focus in finance or insurance

3+ years of experience with Python or other object-oriented languages in a data engineering setting

1+ years of experience with serverless architecture and integration

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Kimball/Inmon dimensional data modeling

Experience working in an agile project environment

Experience with cloud database platforms

Exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to influence at multiple levels of the organization

Ability to work quickly under potentially ambiguous circumstances

Education

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or STEM field OR equivalent (4 years' experience and High School Diploma/GED) required.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$72,100.00 - $173,040.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
