Schedule: Full-time

DCY is seeking a team-oriented professional to provide technical assistance and support for process automation projects such as OCLQS, TAP, OB, and OPR.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist IT teams with scope, requirements, and design documentation (e.g., BRDs).

Review design documents and develop test cases; conduct system testing to ensure expected outcomes.

Support data conversion and implementation of new/enhanced systems.

Interpret federal and state statutes to ensure compliance in system design.

Develop user manuals, procedures, and training materials.

Provide help desk support and respond to system user inquiries.

Prepare defect reports, update reference tables, and manage security profiles.

Offer technical assistance to IT staff, contractors, and child-serving programs.

Participate in troubleshooting, corrective action planning, and system enhancements.

Conduct training workshops and seminars on new or modified procedures.

Additional Duties:

Stay current on program policy changes and ensure systems align with requirements.

Compile reports, maintain logs/records, and participate in project team assignments.

Attend meetings, conferences, and trainings as needed.

Pay Information:

Unless required by legislation or union contract, starting salary will be step 1 of the salary range associated with this position. New hires advance to the next step in the range after 6 months and annually thereafter. Based on collective bargaining and legislative activity, there may be cost of living increases awarded annually. Additional longevity supplements begin after 5 years. The current wage progression for this position is in the table below.

(i.e., within past 5 years) in delivery of human services that included explaining & applying laws, policies & procedures mandated by Ohio Department of Job & Family Services that are pertinent to business work flows for which computer system is being designed & using human services legacy system such as Ohio Benefits, SACWIS, SETS, or CCIDS; 6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. exp. in operating personal computer & using office system software, that is Microsoft Office system software, that is Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, or like software package. Note: This option requires the employing agency to develop and have position specific minimum qualifications approved by the Ohio Department of Administrative Services.

-Or completion of undergraduate core coursework or 2 years exp. in social or behavioral science, pre-medicine, business administration, public administration, human services as defined in series purpose, or comparable field (note: this required education and/or experience shall not be applied to satisfy one of the following), AND In addition, must meet one of the following, whichever is pertinent to process automation project to be assigned: ForOhio Benefits System positions, requires 24 mos. recent exp. (i.e., within past 5 years) in delivery of human services that included explaining & applying public assistance laws, policies & procedures mandated by Ohio Department of Job & Family Services & using Ohio Benefits; 6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. exp. in operating personal computer & using Microsoft Office system software, that is Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, or like software package.
