About the opportunity
You will be a key part of a team that is passionate about delivering unforgettable customer care, all while having the support, resources, and progression opportunities that come with the biggest brand in healthcare.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Leading clinics and providing specialist care and advice to all patients
Testing eyes using the latest technology whilst maintaining outstanding patient care.
Delivering enhanced services dependant on the store needs
Responding to emergency triages
Working with external healthcare professionals
Providing clinical support to team members on the shop floor
Providing advice to patients using your clinical knowledge
Keeping up to date with latest clinical practices.
Working closely with senior stakeholders
What you’ll need to have
The essential skills or experience needed to succeed in this role:
GOC registered (or expecting to be in the next 6 months)
Additional registration with the relevant NHS body
Drive to deliver excellent patient care.
Excellent communication and organisation skills
The motivation to ‘See What’s Possible’ for our teams, customers, and patients.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 experienced, fully qualified and registered Mobile Optometrist to join us on a resident basis based out of our East Kilbride practice at Boots Opticians covering the Central belt Scotland, Lnarkshire, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dumfries, Ayr and further.
Our Practice in East Kilbride is situated within the Boots UK store consisting of 3 testing rooms. The practice is supported by a team of 15 however as you will be moving around the size of the store will vary according to the location, including some very talented Clinicians. Each practise consist of OCT, Phoropters and some do have the Optomap as well.
East Kilbride is a beautiful, family-oriented, suburban town know to host various sports and has an active arts scene.
