Location: Near Greensboro, MD
Start Date: February 1, 2025
Duration: Ongoing, long-term availability
Shift: Nocturnist position, night shifts only (7p-7a). Preference for 7 consecutive nights or Monday-Friday coverage.
Call Details: In-house call with a 1:6 ratio. Expect about 10 patients seen per shift, with an average of 10 phone consults and 10 admissions per 24-hour period.
Response Time: 5-minute call response required.
Facility & Practice Setting:
Inpatient setting only (no outpatient).
Trauma Level 3.
14 operating rooms.
Providers will work alongside a team of CRNAs and two advanced practice providers (PAs/NPs).
Resident and teaching supervision required.
Skills & Cases Required:
General Anesthesia, including adult and pediatric cases.
Regional Anesthesia, Spinal and Epidural techniques.
Ventilation and acute volume/BP management.
Central and arterial line placements, along with PA catheter placement.
Management of complex cases in vascular, orthopedic, neurosurgical, and trauma settings.
Certifications Required:
MD license or IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact).
ABLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
Credentialing Timeframe:
90 days estimated.
Support Provided:
CRNA supervision is required.
Full insurance coverage provided by the vendor.
