Job Title: Classroom Assistant

Leader Education are seeking an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join an Ofsted-rated Outstanding school that supports children aged 4–18.

In this role, you will work closely with children who display challenging behaviour, as well as support with maths activities. You will assist small groups, help regulate behaviour, and contribute to creating a positive learning environment.

This position is ideal for a passionate and caring individual who is dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the education and development of young people, providing a stimulating and safe environment.

The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30-16:30 and is a long-term position given a successful trial period.

The successful candidate will have:

A current DBS that is on the update system, or a willingness to obtain one

Relevant/transferable skills and experience

Strong classroom management skills

High expectations and aspirations for all pupils

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with pupils, parents, and all members of staff

Adaptability and a commitment to meeting the diverse needs of students
