Seeking a meticulous histotechnologist for a critical role

Now Hiring: 2 Travel Histotechnologists – Atlanta & Lawrenceville, GA locations

Schedule: 13 Weeks 8 hour Day shift Must work 2 major and 1 minor holiday

IMPORTANT: Must reside 50 or more miles from zip code 30342 or 30046

Key Responsibilities:

• Position supports services which include Pathology, Cytology, and Immunohistochemistry (IHC)

• Responsibilities include receiving specimens from surgery, accessioning specimen into Cerner, and collection of blocks from PA staff

• Carries out all aspects of histology slide preparation, including tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of a formal histology technologist training program, or an associate’s degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences

• Current AHA BLS is required

• Minimum of 2 years of experience within specialty (Pathology Laboratory) Required
