Job Description
QLM is currently seeking an Assistant Construction Superintendent to support a long term commercial project in Fort Myers!
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily jobsite operations for commercial construction projects
Supervise subcontractors, trades, and site crews to ensure productivity and quality
Maintain and enforce OSHA and company safety standards at all times
Track schedules and milestones, making adjustments to stay on time and within budget
Review drawings, specifications, and blueprints to ensure accuracy in execution
Conduct daily site meetings and communicate progress with the Project Manager
Monitor material deliveries and installations
Provide problem-solving and leadership to maintain efficiency on the jobsiteQualifications
5+ years of superintendent or field leadership experience on commercial construction projects
Strong knowledge of commercial building systems, methods, and scheduling
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and project specifications
Excellent leadership and communication skills with subcontractors, field staff, and clients
OSHA 30 certification (preferred)
Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (preferred)
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportationBenefits
