Job Description

Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist at Arcadia, FL! This is a 5 months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Role: Phlebotomist

Location: Arcadia, FL 34266

Shift Schedule:

Mon–Fri 7:00 AM–1:00 PM

Every 3rd Saturday 7:00 AM–11:00 AM

Hours per Week: 30 hours

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Highlights: $17-19.75/hour (Based on years of experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Phlebotomy & Specimen Collection

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection, including pediatric and geriatric patients.

Prepare and process specimens according to established protocols.

Maintain accuracy in patient identification, labeling, and documentation.

Execute both forensic and clinical collection procedures with confidence and compliance.

Patient Experience & Communication

Explain procedures clearly and create a calm, professional environment.

Demonstrate leadership behaviors and uphold organizational values.

Promote a positive image to patients, clients, coworkers, and the general public.

Operational Duties

Complete daily tasks accurately and on schedule under minimal supervision.

Maintain a clean, safe, and professional workspace.

Adhere to all company policies, including safety, confidentiality, and dress code.

Manage required logs, records, and documentation consistently.

Flexibility & Reliability

Must be able to work weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime as needed.

Must arrive on time, work full scheduled hours, and exhibit dependable attendance.

Reliable personal transportation required (ride-share/bus drop-off is not acceptable).

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience: Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience (Required)

Note: Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
